If you are a fan of the popular TV show Blackish, here is even more reason why you should stay loyal to the show. On tonight's episode, Hope. The Johnson family tackles what is now one of the most divisive issues in America today and that is Police Brutality. The show was able to do this while remaining entertaining as well as educative. Police Brutality has long been an issue in America especially as it concerns African or Black Americans. Its no secret that some not all police have been accused of using excessive force in the way they carry out their duties and has in some cases resulted in the deaths of certain individuals, if the cases of Eric Garner and Sandra Bland are anything to go by.
Tonight's episode starts off with the family waiting for the latest news from a case of police misconduct or maltreatment against an unarmed black man. We see the way the parents Dre and Bow want to handle the issue. On one hand Bow want to shield her children from the truth but on the other hand Dre want them to see and understand the world they live in. Seriously if you haven't started already, start watching as well as following the Blackish show you will not regret it.
