Tragic News, Prince dies aged 57

It came as a shock to everyone when the news broke that the legendary singer, Prince singer of Purple Rain passed away as reported by his publisist.
The singer passed away in his home, Paisley park estate in Chanhassen where he had been found by rescue  workers. He was pronounced dead on the scene at about 10:07 am. We will miss you Prince. Rest in Peace as you will dearly be missed by both family and fans.

The all of me singer and his model wife welcomed their first child together on Thursday April 14th. The baby's whose name is Luna Simone Stephens weighs 6 pounds. Congratulations to the new parents.

BuzzFeed: Question Black People Have for other Black People and a Writer Response

BuzzFeed God bless their soul used to be one of my favorites sites to get news and entertainment but in the words of a friend, "They done f**ked up now". You might be wondering what BuzzFeed has done well, i'll let you watch for yourself and see messed up the whole situation is.

At first it was funny, then it got downright offensive, like really as a black person you don't understand why our race is allowed to say the N word and not other races. Do I need to explain the historical implications and oppression that has haunted black people since way back and that is especially tied to that word. Do I need to explain how the N word was used as a derogatory term to refer to black people how it is still used to refer to black people and we are only beginning to reclaim that word for ourselves and change the meaning into something positive. As a black person do you really need an answer to that question. This is really disappointing, especially since it is coming from BuzzFeed. Seriously Buzzfeed could have done better, there are legitimate questions that you all could have asked but you all chose to ask all the wrong ones.

Disney Star Debby Ryan Arrested for DUI

Star of Jessie on Disney was arrested while driving in Los Angeles around 11pm of last week for driving while under the influence of alcohol. The 22 year old actress who took to her twitter to apologize had this to say,
"Over the last few days I have had the chance to think over my actions and I wish I had used better judgement"

Between Future, Ciara and a Lawsuit

The two who have a kid together cannot apparently stand each other, if their behaviors this week is anything to go by.Future is finally replying to the 15 millionaire dollars lawsuit brought to him by Ciara. Ciara who sued Future a few month back due to a series of tweets and for basically airing their private business in public and ruining her career. Now Future in a counter suit is saying that he could not have possibly ruined her career and basically calling Cici washed up. Ouch, that has got to sting.
Future wants the court to force Ciara to put an end to bad mouthing him and also make her pay for all the legal fees he incured fighting her lawsuit.

If you have a forehead you too can tell Bill O'Reilly to fuck off with his opinions of African Americans. A little back story here, if you are wondering why the hashtag #foreheadsolidarity is currently trending on twitter well it because the not so on the down low racist host of the O'Reilly Factor had a lot of nonsense to say about African Americans while interviewing presidential hopeful Donald Trump, most of which just happen not to be true.
While interviewing Trump, the question was asked, What does Trump have to say to African Americans.Who knew such a simple question would lead to one of the dumbest comments made in all of television history. Anyhoo Trump replies by saying he would make jobs available for Black Americans, then O'Reilly goes on to make said dumb comment.

 "But how are you going to get jobs for them
 Many of them are are ill-educated and have tattoos on their foreheads"

Come on O'Reilly tattoos on the forehead really? Do you hear yourself, I mean you supposedly went to school right?

Cue host of the Nightly show, Larry Wilmore, who is a black man who has an education and no forehead tattoo how rare, not. Anyway he had a few words for O'Reilly and they are really simple words, Fuck u O'Reilly. He also went on to invite twitter users to get in on the trend by tweeting Fuck u O'Reilly written on their foreheads with the hashtag #foreheadsolidarity and hence a new revolution is born.

This video is sort of a relief but at the same time can you imagine what those girls have gone through, the emotional and psychological damage.This video gives hope to the parents of the girls that were kidnapped that their kids are alive. I hope the Nigerian government can act on this, its about time this girls come home. The reaction of the mothers in the video really touches ones heart, its so sad that for the past two years this girls have not been found and reconnected with their families. At the same time the amount of female suicide bombers is growing at an alarming rate.

A woman scorned, while announcing the Billboard nomiees, Ciara who is this year's host alongside Ludacris refused to say the rapper Future's name while announcing nomiees for the Best Rap Artist. While reading out the nomiees she stopped midway, refusing to mention the rapers name prompting Ludacris to take over, good thing he was there. Here is a video. The two who used to date and even have a child together have not been on good terms.

Long Island teenager gets into all Ivy League schools

Getting into one or two ivy league is a feat itself now imagine getting into all eight!!, Well Long Island teenager Augusta Uwamazu-Nna,who is Nigerian American will have her pick of the Ivy Leagues in order to decide here she will be attending university. It is worth mentioning that this is the second year in a row that a student from Elmont Memorial High School has gained admission in all the ivy leagues, last year was Ekeh Harold who also happens to be Nigerian-American and who presently attends Yale University.
Speaking at a press release, Augusta speaks of her experience as surreal and that her accomplishments were a reflection of the hardworking ideals of her town, Elmont, her parents and dedicated teachers. Congratulations to Augusta and hopefully you make a choice that you are happy with.

Kanye reacts to the Engagement of Blac Chyna and Robert Kardashian

Kanye West Brother- in-law to Robert Kardashian just reacted to the upcoming nuptials of Blac Chyna and Rob saying he had not been invited to the wedding when asked if he would attend the wedding. The rapper who was in a good mood as he walked through the airport in LA, when asked if the family approved of the union replied that he had nothing but love for Rob and he was just going to roll with it.

According to US weekly, the Kardashian clan had reached out privately to congratulate Robert on his engagement to Chyna. The family has however been private about their congratulations due to the fact that momager Kris Jenner was not happy about the engagement seeing as Rob and Chyna have only been dating for a few months and her daughter Kylie is dating Tyga, Chyna's ex and father to her son. Its a complicated world when it come to the Kardashian clan. Congrats to Rob and Chyna.
