Is Donald Trump the man America Needs?

This is an opinion piece.

Like most people when Donald Trump began running for presidency, I did not take him seriously. I thought he was having his fun with us all. Then like most people again, I was shocked that he was leading the republican party and as things are going might even be the nominee for the party. I mean he is leading in polls despite the fact that everything he stands for offends everybody excepts his supporters. Who are either very racist or plain ignorant or both that they believe this is the man to make America great again. When you ask a Trump supporter, Why do you support Trump?, you are likely to receive answers such as, "He is the man to make our country great again or that he is not politically correct and says what they think". OK cool beans?.(FYI, What Americans refer to as being politically correct in most places is called being Polite and not offending people because they are different and not like you) A lot of things confuse me, maybe its because I am not American and I do not see or understand the intricacies of the matter whatever it is, but make America great again?, I think America is a pretty great country now and so do a lot of people except Trump supporters and Trump himself. It is easy to see that the man is a coward, plays into the fears of people and manipulates those fears, a sexist (I almost put the word pig here but decide that that would be an insult to pigs so sexist will have to do) and he absolutely does not respect women (Watch the video that Buzz feed put together about the way Trump addresses women versus Obama) and constantly refers to women as bimbos and reduces us to just our looks and nothing more. You don't believe me?, well check out his latest fight or "beef" with Ted Cruz, where he compared a side by side photo of Cruz's wife, Heidi and his wife. I thought it was progress not regression that is constantly preached because that what will happen if Trump becomes president. 

I will admit, I follow Trump on twitter like I do most of the other presidential candidates and I can honestly say that this man should not be let loose on the American people and I got this just from reading the stuff this man tweets. Can you imagine Trump as president, this man child as the leader of the free world, I shudder to think what he will do in office. Oh, lest I forget, the Trump wall. The beautiful wall that this man proposes and the American Trump supporters have no qualms paying for but Obama care is a problem. Let's talk about how much building the wall is gong to cost the American people (Even Trump himself does not know this by the way, how do we expect this man to rule, I mean come on really), lets see how tall is this wall going to be again 30 feet, I think ,along the Mexican and US border, OK cool beans. Not accounting for the cost of labor, and materials used to build the wall which experts say will take at least four years to build, Trump estimates that it will cost 8 billion dollars, whew that is a lot of green. Experts however estimate that it would cost 10 billion to build,now I am no math expert but isn't that a lot of money. Ohh lets see, what else is wrong with Trump and he's campaign, I mean there are so many, i have to pick a good one lets seee. Oh yes, feeding into pre-existing fears that people have. This is one effective tool that he has used in his campaign and people are falling right in. Here is a scenario: 

Trump: Muslims are bad

Trump supporter: OMG he like totally read my mind, no politically correct BS

Trump: The Mexicans bring over rapist and are taking your jobs

Trump supporters: Well he's the man, he knows it. He will make this country great again.

I want to think Trump supporters are people who can think for themselves but yeah nah, they don't really show that they can and it is quite sad. On this note I just want to say, VOTE BERNIE SANDERS YA'LL but NOT TRUMP, NEVER TRUMP.

To Answer my own question, Donald Trump is not the man America needs or will ever need to be honest. The country is at such a fragile stage of its existence especially as it concerns race relations and this man will only add more fuel to an already existing fire that is burning too hot already. Trump will divide this country that I feel is beautiful because of the diversity it has. But hey that's my opinion.

Thanks to the internet, the world has gotten smaller (In a sense) and we can now appreciate the beauty and talent of people all over the world and there are certainly some really good talents out there. Talk of the lady that transforms herself into Disney princesses and villans using her Hijab and now we see a Korean beauty blogger who transforms herself into Taylor Swift, whoa mind blown you guys, just blown. Park Hye Min, using the sorcery that is make up is able to transform herself to one of the biggest stars in the music business, Taylor Swift and I've got the video to show youuuuuuuuuu.

Al-jazeera Puts up post implying Nigerian Women are Prostitutes.

While I respect International news agency, Al-jazeera and even hope to work for them some day somebody has to call them out on what they posted the other day about Nigerian women. In a effort to praise a Nigerian woman who was a mechanic they inadvertently called Nigerian women prostitutes which set off a whole lot of people especially Nigerians. I mean come on Al-jazeera, you should have thought a bit more before posting that, a lot of Nigerian women are hardworking and a lot of them are entrepreneurs implying in anyway whether intentionally or by mistake that most of them are prostitutes is an affront and frankly an apology should be issued.

Saturday fashion inspiration

I probably spend a little too much time on Tumbler but until that is made a crime nobody can stop me haha. Anyway I saw a couple of styles that I just had to share with everybody that visits this blog. Hopefully you all can get inspired from them and put together some bomb outfits.

Zendaya's denmin on denmin look is everything also that hair is absolutely gorgeous, my second favorite look is Kendall's look. Everything from the pants to the crop top is giving me life and my last favorite look is the waterfall trench coat, everything about the outfit is is so put together. Pray for Nigeria

I logged onto twitter and tumbler today and I saw the hashtags PrayforNigeria, at this point I did not know what had happened. I did a little bit of investigating and found out that Boko Haram had BURNT eighty-six people alive including children. Let that sink in, 86 souls that were burnt alive for no reason other than they were in the wrong place at the wrong damn time, despite the fact that they were in their homes and village where they should feel relatively safe. Over the past few months in Nigeria there have been attacks from the insurgent group mostly in northeastern Nigeria and at least a hundred and six lives have been lost but is anyone doing anything about it, NO. I want so bad to blame the president of Nigeria for not doing anything and spending too much time outside rather than in the country but what exactly does that do. This particular attack shook me because burning human beings alive has got to be one of the most evil things ever done by a fellow human to another human. Lighting a match after pouring the fuel or whatever and then setting people on fire. The images running through my mind now will probably keep me awake for the duration of the night. Also where is the media outrage and world solidarity for Nigeria, why aren't people changing their profiles into the picture of the Nigerian flag and most important of all, why is there such a double standard in the coverage of terrorist activity that happens in Africa and terrorist activity that happens in the west. So many whys,but the most important of them all is, why do this terrorist activities happen at all, despite the countries where they occur, why do these people who masquerade in masks and claim to worship Allah do the things they do?. Who can answer this questions?. I am not at home in Nigeria now but I can feel the pain as if I were and the fact that Boko Haram is out there continues to anger me, its not enough to say that one day they will receive their comeuppance because while we wait for that day to come, for our leaders to do something, step up, this insurgent groups will continue to leave destruction in their wake.

The Weekend Drops out of Rhianna's tour

Sad news Rhianna Navy, the weekend has dropped out of the Anti tour and will no longer be performing. Rhianna who kicked off her sold out tour in Jacksonville Florida on March 12 and was supposed to have the weekend in tow. According to promoters, some unforeseen circumstances have caused the Weekend to be unable to perform during the tour. One person who has however been able to hit the sage with RiRi is Drake and they have been giving the audience what they want. We might not have the weekend but hey at least we have Drake.

Everything to Know About the Brussels attack, Nigeria and Ivory Coast

Since the Brussels attack a lot of things have been happening, the USA is tightening its security and sadly enough but true the stopislam hashtag on twitter began trending. At the same time let us also acknowledge what happened in both Nigeria and Ivory Coast. Terrorism also go on in non-western countries but the uproar and reaction to this attacks are not as vehement as when they occur in western countries which frankly is sad. We have seen it happen in the case of Paris after the attack and the world stood with in solidarity with Paris and now we are seeing it with Brussels but not with Nigeria or Ivory Coast. He has injuries but nothing serious, thankfully and is expected to make a good recovery.
